The Sanguine Sea Turtle

Guided by its imprint of where it was born, the sea turtle travels the world underwater as it always returns home. No one knows exactly how, but for millions of years, the endangered sea turtle has been guided by the magnetism in its mind as it travels hundreds of thousands of miles only to return home to recreate the journey for generations to come.

Sadly, not many sea turtles make it to adulthood as they encounter predators and the pollution that riddles the sea from their very start. Known as a social aquatic sea creature, what happens when one gets separated from the very beginning of its life?

In a blend of positivity and optimism, Dr. Michael Woodward's The Sanguine Sea Turtle tugs readers on an adventure through the underwater currents of the Pacific Ocean and down the coast of the Great Barrier Reef as she follows closely behind in search of her brothers and sisters.
